SALARY:
$21.75/hour


SHIFT:
Night Shift: 10pm to 6am

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Operation of machines, e.g. forklifts, pallet jacks, palletizers, stretch wrappers
  • Relief for machine operators, TPNW, and daily breaks
  • Preparing bills of loading in a Warehouse Management System
  • Receiving of incoming materials, completing documentation and general knowledge of chemical containment area
  • Empty keg return organization
  • Responsible for all HACCP and EH&S procedures in the department which includes but is not limited to: trailer inspections, forklift inspections and cleaning
  • Order picking for direct delivery, involves heavy lifting
  • Prepare pallets for direct delivery
  • Occasionally going out on the road with delivery drivers to assist in direct deliver orders, involves heavy lifting up to 150lbs

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Grade 12 education or equivalent (proof required). Postsecondary education considered an asset.
  • High energy, strong teamwork and ability to learn
  • Physically able to lift and maneuver full kegs
  • Flexible and adaptable to change
  • Exceptional work, discipline and attendance record
  • Ability to follow health and safety rules and procedures
  • Ability to work independently and cooperatively with coworkers
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Forklift experience/valid forklift license
  • Comfortable wearing/ using safety equipment at all times
  • Willingness to learn supply chain related computer programs
  • Experience with WMS (Warehouse Management System) considered an asset
