We are seeking a Technical Manager Compliance Assurance CMH to join an outstanding team

In this role you will ensure that the Contract Market Harmonization Program delivers a solution which meets all compliance requirements.

These compliance requirements include (but is not limited to) legal, regulatory, contractual, and financial/risk policy obligations.

This role will also ensure that changes resulting from the implementation of the Contract Market Harmonization Program does not compromise compliance for upstream and downstream processes.

What You Will Do:

Responsible to understand the impacting compliance requirements (eg. legal, regulatory, contractual, financial/risk policy) applicable to the project scope.
Work closely with program leadership, functional leaders, and legal/regulatory/audit/finance/risk teams to ensure compliance requirements are met in the program and redesigned processes.
Responsible to identify possible upstream/downstream compliance impacts, and working with the project management/interdependency lead/functional leads to resolve.
Develop reporting / metrics to demonstrate that future state process and systems design are in compliance with all requirements.
Responsible to ensure that there are processes, reporting and governance in place to demonstrate that compliance has been achieved and can be sustained following the project.
Provide leadership to compliance/regulatory representatives in each project track lead. Coordinate and align efforts across the breadth of the project from a compliance perspective.

Who You Are:

You will have the following education and experience:

Related university degree and 8 or more years of related utility experience.
Experience with regulatory, legal, contractual, audit requirements at the utility.
Experience relevant to the contract / wholesale markets an asset.
Experience with risk identification and classification.
Strong interpersonal skills, including to executive and external audiences.
Experience with significant process or system change projects is an asset.
Proven leadership and critical thinking skills.
Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations.
Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions.

Working Conditions:
Travel expected 3-5 days/month. Valid G driver's license and reliable vehicle required to be used for business purposes.
