Job Summary


The Associate Project Manager will lead the development and execution of McKesson's Patient Services & Clinical programs, as well as other internal projects.

This role involves the management of various assignments at different stages of development and execution.

The Associate Project Manager is responsible for meeting client-defined metrics and ensuring that appropriate information is communicated to the involved stakeholders on a regular basis.


Specific Responsibilities

  • Responsible for leading a portfolio of change requests to ensure effective endtoend delivery
  • Gather requirements, create plans based on project requirements, manage all project timelines and updates to the project plan, and drive implementation to completion
  • Manage and participate in program design and development activities (i.e. development of primary and secondary documentation, program manuals, SOPs, flows and charts, etc.)
  • Manage and participate in the project technical set up (i.e. telephony, data collection tools and processes, reports and project reporting requirements)
  • Collaborate with Program manager/Project Director in defining and meeting program success indicators and performance parameters and include them in the quality assurance plan
  • Manage production of training materials and participate in training activities for new and existing employees/projects
  • Manage daytoday project implementation activities for the change requests (i.e. responding to client/internal inquiries and troubleshooting)
  • Address ad hoc client requests and case escalations, as required
  • Communicate effectively and on an ongoing and scheduled basis for request status to Program manager/project director

General Responsibilities

  • Recommend improvements to processing and internal control activities
  • Perform duties in compliance with all relevant company standard operating procedures and policies
  • Maintain appropriate communications with all levels of the organization

Competencies

  • Postsecondary education in life science or 12 years relevant industry experience
  • Excellent computer skills including all MS Office suite of products
  • Understanding of internal processes related to data collection and reporting systems
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and with teams with a positive attitude
  • Ability to effectively prioritizes tasks; multitask oriented
  • Strong problemsolving skills

As part of Total Rewards, we are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson. This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.


Our Base Pay Range for this position
$47,600 - $79,400
