Job Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and outgoing individual to join our team as a Host/Host.

As a Host/Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing them with a warm welcome and ensuring their dining experience starts off on a positive note.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong communication and customer service skills to work in a fast-paced and dynamic restaurant environment.

Duties:

Greet guests as they arrive and seat them at their designated tables
Provide menus and inform guests of daily specials
Assist with taking reservations and managing the waitlist
Maintain a clean and organized host/host station
Answer phone calls and assist with inquiries or reservations
Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations
Assist with guest services, such as coat check or escorting guests to restrooms

Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
Knowledge of POS systems and basic computer skills
Ability to multitask and work in a fastpaced environment
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Familiarity with food service or hospitality industry is a plus

Salary:
$17.00-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 26 per week

Schedule:
