Purpose_**Contributes to the overall success of the Distribution Services department ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team's business strategies and objectives.

Ensures all activities conducted follow governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.

Accountabilities _**:

  • Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
  • The Distribution Clerk is accountable for the daytoday accurate and efficient distribution and pickup of mail for all locations in the Tahoe Hub. This includes external (Canada Post and courier) mail, interdepartmental mail, delivery of stationery, records, etc
  • Being accountable for the accurate and efficient sorting of mail
  • Receiving and filing of branch vouchers, as well as hanging of branch bags
  • Contacting appropriate person for repairs, when required
  • Monitoring stock levels and tracking order requirements
  • Being accountable for the distribution of outgoing voucher boxes from WIP Rooms to Hub Voucher Rooms to be shipped out by Iron Mountain
  • Assists with cafeteria and other rooms setups for events, town halls and other engagement activities in the campus
  • Ensures service provided to customers/partners is of the high quality by ensuring that all service level commitments to customers are met or exceeded
  • Understand how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in daytoday activities and decisions.
  • Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
  • Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of daytoday business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Guidelines for Business Conduct.

Education / Experience / Other Information _**- Minimum High School Diploma, or equivalent work experience

  • Thorough knowledge of distribution methods and procedures in the Department
  • High degree of accuracy;
  • Good organizational skills;
  • Familiarity with operating photocopier and fax machines.
