We are hiring a QA Team Lead who will be responsible for managing a team which works on the verification and validation of the Felix Payments Systems Ltd's (FPS) product lines.

A Felix QA Team Lead will work as part of the Design Team reporting to the Product Design Manager.


Responsibilities:


  • Ensure software test procedures and artefacts (both manual and automated) are developed to a high standard.
  • Manage the development of required Test tools (development of simulators and test clients).
  • Review tests for accuracy and quality prior to product deliveries.
  • Ensure accuracy of testing baseline in response to engineering change processes and to changing requirements baseline.
  • Review and input of software unit testing as required.
  • Manage scalability and performance testing in accordance with performance requirements.
  • Configuration and maintenance of test frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Development and review of test plans
  • Work with requirement and development resources to establish test requirements and produce traceability into test frameworks for software under test.
  • Create/Review documented software defect reports in the change management tools in response to failures identified by test frameworks.
  • Oversee the execution of baseline test procedures in accordance with established standards.
  • Oversee/Perform internal precertification testing of developed software as required. Including security requirements against PCI standards or interface requirements against 3rd party APIs.
  • Participate in design team sprints, ensuring your individual and team tasks are completed within the assigned period.
  • Work on customer specific projects when assigned to the prescribed schedule.

Requirements:


  • Minimum 5 years experience working as a QA Product Tester in a related field.
  • Previous experience leading, coaching and mentoring junior staff members.
  • QA/Product test experience in the following areas relevant to the industry:
  • Software Integration Testing
  • Interface Testing
  • CI/CD test automation
  • Formal Product Qualification Testing
  • Capacity/Load Testing
  • Learnt experience with tools/environments relative to the industry
  • Linux Environments
  • MS SqlServer/MYSQL (test focus)
  • Atlassian Suite
  • Qt Test (or equivalent)
  • Kubernetes
  • Good understanding of XML and JSON data formats.
  • Demonstrated experience in interface debugging using various techniques.
  • Knowledge of programming to aid in comprehension of source code and fault analysis.
  • You must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
