Teranorth Construction & Engineering Limited is looking for a surface driller to join our blasting crew.

Note:
the blasting crew primarily works within an hours radius of sudbury, but travel may be required (compensated for travel as well as travel expenses, i.e. gas). This position is applicable for the OE793 union and the included union benefits (health, pension, etc)

We are looking for a hard working individual that:

Are committed to safety as their number 1 priority
Required to have at least 2 years experience with drilling in the construction field
Are able to use tools and equipment needed to perform specific tasks
Have great communication skills and demonstrate great teamwork
Are able to work independently
Are physically able to perform rigorous work tasks
Have a reliable way to get to and from the work site
Are punctual and committed to hard work

Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

Prepare construction site, making sure that proper housekeeping is being completed
Operate and maintain construction equipment and tools (i.e. drills)
Work with drilling assistants for proper loading/unloading and site management
Follow the Teranorth Health and Safety Policy Manual as well as the Acts and Regulations set out by the MOL and other governing body
Follow instructions set out by the site Supervisor

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Salary:
$29.00 per hour
