    ArcelorMittal Dofasco - HR Data Analyst

    ArcelorMittal Dofasco, Hamilton's largest private sector employer, is looking for a motivated individual to join their Technology & Analytics Team as an HR Data Analyst.

    Role Overview:

    • Reporting & Visualization:
      • Prepare regular reports covering FTE/Headcount, Corporate Sustainability, Attrition Analysis, Employee Surveys, Grant Audits, etc.
      • Develop dashboards to communicate key people metrics effectively.
      • Use visualization tools to present data clearly and provide ad-hoc reporting as needed.
    • Data Analysis:
      • Analyze HR data to identify patterns, trends, and insights.
      • Offer recommendations for HR strategy improvements based on key metrics.
    • Collaboration:
      • Lead annual FTE/Headcount Budget Cycle and align analytics efforts with strategic objectives.
      • Build relationships with key contacts for streamlined communication.
    • Continuous Improvement:
      • Proactively identify process improvements and stay updated on industry trends.
      • Collaborate with teams to implement initiatives supporting organization goals.

    Desired Knowledge & Skills:

    • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
    • Proficiency in Power BI for creating insightful dashboards.
    • Attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and handle multiple tasks.
    • Continuous learning mindset and ethical handling of sensitive information.

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Diploma or Degree in Business or related field.
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in data analysis with HR focus.
    • Experience with SAP is an asset.

    Work Environment:

    • Office environment.
    • Onsite four days a week with one day remote work option.

    Hours of Work:

    • Monday to Friday with extended hours during peak workloads.
