Description

One of our clients in North York that manufactures doors is looking for general labours to assemble doors. This is a full time permanent position. Knowledge of tools is an asset as well as assembly experience.

Responsibilities:

Bolt, screw, clip, caulk, or otherwise fasten parts and components together using hand and power tools and equipment.
Position and install parts, subassemblies, and accessories using hand and power tools.
Mark, record, and track productivity numbers.
Record and report any defects.
Clean and perform preparation of the work area.
Load, and unload materials.
Other duties as assigned.
Follow current safety standards and procedures.

Qualifications:

Experience or ability to work with a variety of hand and power tools.
Ability to bend, crouch and lift items as required, up to 50lbs.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to read and write.
Have a positive and professional attitude
Ability to work independently or as part of a team completing assigned activities according to the production schedule.
Commitment to product quality and safety.
Able to communicate both verbally and in writing.
Basic mathematical skills.
Willing to work overtime as required, either early or late, some weekends.

Monday to Friday from 7:30am
