United Gulf Developments owns several rental properties in and around Halifax and we are looking for an
Experience Resident Manger (mature couple or individual) to join our team.

We are commited to providing HRM residents with a positive living experience and need a professional, hard working, caring individual to step into the role of building manager.


Qualifications

  • The successful candiate must have experience as a resident manager and will be proficient in cleaning, light maintenance, and administation,
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Yardi is an asset,
  • Excellent time manaement, the ability to self start and multi task is a must.

Duties

  • Service residents as a main point of contact for information and assistantance,
  • Ensure the building has no vacancies by being proactive at leasing and turning over units as necessary,
  • Create a sense of community for residents by keeping the building clean and tending to their maintenance needs, in terms of painting, minor repairs, minor electical and plumbing,
  • Maintain the cleanliness of common areas, lobby's, yards and parking lots,

Responsibilities

  • Daily cleaning of common areas,
  • Diligent response times to all maintenance requests from tenants,
  • Ensure the building is secure at all times,
  • Arrage and log maintenance of all annual inspections required for the building to operate safely and efficiently,
  • Turn over units as necessary by completing minor required repairs, painting and cleaning,
  • Complete rental collections and rental increases as required,
  • Complete moveins and moveouts and notices approved by the office.

Compensation
The position includes accommodation amd a unit within the building plus a competitive salary.
