Summary:

Open to be based in any of our Office Locations (Chicago, Detroit, Toronto, Montreal)

Responsibilities:

Deliver strategic Talent consulting to internal clients within Corporate and Plants across Canada
Act as a Trusted Advisor and build strong relationships with the Hiring managers
Drive the recruitment project from intake meetings through offer negotiation, backcheck and collaborate with the onboarding team.
Create and execute an external sourcing plan to build a strong, diverse talent pipeline and successfully identify, attract and hire qualified talent via creative talent channels
Provide regular status updates to Talent Acquisition Manager and Hiring Managers on recruitment for open positions
Build effective relationships and provide excellent client service by ensuring a positive employee experience
Participate in recruitment events when required
Demonstrate commitment to continuous learning by building business acumen, sharing competitive intelligence, and staying abreast of business/market trends
Representing the function of TA effectively throughout VCNA and externally ensuring our brand is protected and profiled in interactions

Qualifications:

4+ years' experience in managing end to end Recruitment process; Experience in Cement or related industry
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work at all levels of the organization
Strong sourcing skills using LinkedIn Recruiter and other channels is a must
Experience working with SuccessFactors and/or other ATS systems
Strong understanding of the Talent Market
Strong understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
HR Certification similar education
Bilingual in French and English is a plus
Experience with Early Talent Recruitment is an asset
