Thinkwell Shift ("Shift") is looking for an individual to join our Customer Advisor team to install energy-saving products in Digby County, Annapolis, and surrounding areas).

Our Customer Advisors work with our booking team to ensure all residents have access to Efficiency Nova Scotia's Efficient Product Install Service ("EPIS") which provides
free energy efficient upgrades to their homes and business.

Our team works with the homeowner to identify all upgrades available to them so that customers will be able to save money on their utility bills and lower energy use in Nova Scotia plus share information on any other Efficiency Nova Scotia programs which they may qualify for.

Training and support will be provided. This position requires daily travel,
access to a vehicle at all times during working hours is essential.

This position is contract based and ranges from 3 months up to a year at a time,contract with the possibility of extension.

Our Customer Advisors are responsible for being the boots on the ground representing Shift and installing products such as LED light bulbs, water efficient aerators and wrapping hot water tanks and pipes.

Customers of the EPIS program expect a friendly and professional individual to enter their home respecting their wishes and working in a safe manner.


As a Customer Advisor with Thinkwell Shift, you will be responsible for:
Using safe driving practices when on the road
Follow company standards for personal safety including masking when/if required or requested by the customer
Interact with customers in a professional manner representing Shift and the EPIS program
Installing efficient products in customers' homes, including LED light bulbs, shower heads, faucet aerators, hot water tank wrap, and pipe wrap
Interacting with customers daily, both on the phone and in homes
Guiding the customers path to help them reduce their resource consumption in a manner that's right for their lifestyle
Stick to the established daily schedule provided by the bookings team and report any changes needed or cancellations as soon as possible
Following established occupational health and safety protocol
Report any incidents that happen to you or customers' property during work hours immediately to Team Lead
Collecting and recording information
Filing electronic reports and ensuring they are all submitted at the end of each working day
Participate in meetings and training as required


Qualifications
Comfortable conducting minor home repairs (changing light bulbs, changing showerheads, etc)

Valid Nova Scotia Driver's License, clean drivers abstract and access to a safe and reliable vehicle for all shifts

Physically able to fulfill the requirements of the position (will be required to be on your feet most of the day, able to carry boxes up to 30lbs, use of small ladder)

Personable, positive, and professional demeanor
Able to follow protocol and make responsible decisions as needed
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Able to follow instruction and communicate needs to Supervisors
Experience working independently
Interested in helping others and the environment
Comfortable with sharing ideas to innovate or find improvements
