Description

We are seeking to hire an experienced dental assistant to complement our friendly team in our established, busy family practice in the city of Port Colborne, conveniently located next to Highway 58.

One year of experience is preferred but new certified graduates are welcome to apply, with training and mentorship provided.

Four to five days a week with no late evenings or weekends.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring smooth and efficient patient care.
Prepare treatment rooms, clean and sterilize instruments, and maintain dental equipment in accordance with infection prevention and control protocols.
Take accurate digital Xrays, as well as performing dental impressions and other necessary laboratory procedures.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide postoperative instructions.
Regularly monitor dental supplies and assist with ordering, and stocking
Maintain accurate patient records and assist with administrative and other tasks as needed.

Successful completion of dental assisting program and HARP certified is a must, and competitive remuneration will be based on transferable experiences, and skill sets.
