Toromont Cat Power is looking for a Material Handler to join our team The Material Handler in our Branch will ensure customer needs are met through ordering and distributing parts in an organized and efficient manner.

In a typical day, YOU will:

Participate in safe, environmentally sound and healthy work behaviors and objectives at all times in support of Toromont's Health and Safety Policy/Program(s) and best practices;
Perform daily inspection of the equipment being used and keep equipment in good order;
Safely operate overhead crane, forklifts, scissor lift, Genie boom, etc
Load and offload materials/equipment with forklift, crane;
Perform inspection on received goods and keep record and documents;
Receive the materials in the system and safely move material as directed;
Maintain shop and yard organization and cleanliness; Organize and keep record of shop misc materials; Support the other team members with equipment or material handling; Prepare the receiving, or delivery of materials/equipment; Packaging the equipment or materials as required

Must-haves for this role:

High School Diploma
Must possess 5+ years experience in an industrial environment performing crane rigging and the operation of an overhead crane
Must possess valid Fork Lift License with 3+ years experience driving 20,000+ lb fork lift
A valid Driver's License with a current clean driver's abstract
