| About the role

Reporting to the Director - Enterprise and Payment Product Risk, the Enterprise Risk Manager is responsible for leading the development, implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Enterprise and Operational Risk Management Program at Payments Canada, including relevant policies, frameworks and risk tools to ensure Enterprise/ Operational Risk is effectively managed and reported in pursuit of our strategic objectives.

The Enterprise Risk Manager will also support the payment product risk oversight and risk model.

| What You'll Do

  • Lead the development, implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Enterprise & Operational Risk Management Program including relevant policies, frameworks, and tools;
  • Lead the development of the quarterly Chief Risk Officer Report to the Risk Committee of the Board including discussion of key issues & themes, top & emerging risks, risk metrics, and risk appetite;
  • Provide oversight and effective challenge to ensure that enterprise & operational risks across the organization are being effectively managed in alignment with established practices and Risk Appetite;
| Minimum Qualifications

  • University degree in Finance, Business, or a related field;
  • Minimum five (5) to seven (7) years of recent experience in leading Enterprise & Operational Risk Management in financial services or payments industry;
  • Knowledge of financial services and related products;
  • Comprehensive understanding of enterprise/operational risk management principles, methodologies, and best practices;
  • Excellent knowledge and background in risk and controls;
  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools (Smartsheets,Tableau, etc);
  • Strong relationship management, presentation and thought leadership skills;
  • Valid criminal records check or eligibility to obtain.
| Salary Range

  • Based on qualifications and experience: $110,161 and $137,701.
