Description

We are seeking an experienced G Class Driver for our Snelling business in Ottawa. The Driver will transport products in a safe manner and by following proper provincial regulations. Delivers products to customers on time while providing excellent customer service as the face of the company. This position will also act as a Warehouse worker when required.

The Warehouse worker will perform a variety of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse.

Shift Timings:
Monday - Friday (7 AM - 3:30 PM)**
Responsibilities:

Operate a truck in a safe and professional manner at all times
Deliver products to customers on time, while providing complete customer service
Communicate with customers regarding deliveries, returns, etc.
Maintain logs daily and complies with all other Provincial Transportation procedures/regulations
Utilize an industrial forklift
Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment
Perform other duties and responsibilities as required

_Requirements:
_

High School diploma or equivalent
Must have a valid Class G license
Must have a Driver's Abstract in good standing
Preferably 12 years' experience as a Delivery driver
Ability to operate a Van/truck in a safe and efficient manner
Possess knowledge of all applicable provincial transportation regulations
Capacity to read and correctly interpret route manifests and invoices
Ability and willingness to work varying routes and required overtime as assigned by Supervisor
