What you will be doing:

  • Provide oneonone or group conflict resolution/mediation for peer and studentstaff issues as needed;
  • Guide/advocate/support students who exercise the appeal procedure for academic decisions and guide and support students through academic integrity issues;
  • Reinforce the student code of conduct policy, academic integrity policy and procedure and disciplinary/appeal procedures;
  • Review, adapt and monitor the compliance of policies/procedures within the Student Handbook; and
  • Provide immigration advising up to a level of legal qualification acquired.

What you will need to be considered:

  • 2-year Diploma in Human Services field such as Social Work or International related field of study;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working with International students and persons in the social services field and knowledge of community resources and issues; and
  • Registered International Student Immigration Advisor Certification.
The incumbent may be required to provide a criminal reference check.
