_Job Summary:
_
- Supports Metrology & Validation by performing the duties as described below.
- Supports Metrology & Validation with all activities related to the preventative maintenance and calibration/verification and qualification of production equipment, facility, and laboratory instrument at ARA-Avanti Rx Analytics Inc.
Wage:
CAD $20.00 per hour
Shift:
Monday to Friday, mornings.
_Responsibilities:
_
- The duties of the Metrology & Validation Intern involve, but not limited to, the following:
- 1. Perform calibration/verification and maintenance activities for Laboratory, Metrology, Facility, and Production equipment in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- 2. Author, review and execute qualification documentation including but not limited to DQ, IQ, OQ and PQ Protocols and Summary Reports.
- 3. Assist in writing and review of preventative maintenance and calibration (SOPs).
- 4. Assist in writing metrology related technical documents.
- 5. Monitor calibration/maintenance status of individual instruments and monthly calibration and preventative maintenance activity.
- 6. Perform all work in compliance with GxP, company SOPs and regulatory (including Cannabis Act) and safety standards.
- 7. Review vendor and service provider qualification questionnaire.
- 8. Coordinate with external service technicians as required.
- 9. Ensure timely completion of project and routine deliverables.
- 10. Works as an effective team member to meet departmental goals, sharing knowledge with team members and across ARA.
- 11. Establishes and maintains effective and professional working relationships with team members and other ARA employees.
- 12. Other Duties as assigned.
_Qualifications:
_
- Minimum university or college degree in a science related field
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of commonly used computer programs (Excel, Word)
- Experience in a GMP environment is an asset.
