_Job Summary:
_

Supports Metrology & Validation by performing the duties as described below.
Supports Metrology & Validation with all activities related to the preventative maintenance and calibration/verification and qualification of production equipment, facility, and laboratory instrument at ARA-Avanti Rx Analytics Inc.

Wage:
CAD $20.00 per hour

Shift:
Monday to Friday, mornings.

_Responsibilities:
_

The duties of the Metrology & Validation Intern involve, but not limited to, the following:
1. Perform calibration/verification and maintenance activities for Laboratory, Metrology, Facility, and Production equipment in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
2. Author, review and execute qualification documentation including but not limited to DQ, IQ, OQ and PQ Protocols and Summary Reports.
3. Assist in writing and review of preventative maintenance and calibration (SOPs).
4. Assist in writing metrology related technical documents.
5. Monitor calibration/maintenance status of individual instruments and monthly calibration and preventative maintenance activity.
6. Perform all work in compliance with GxP, company SOPs and regulatory (including Cannabis Act) and safety standards.
7. Review vendor and service provider qualification questionnaire.
8. Coordinate with external service technicians as required.
9. Ensure timely completion of project and routine deliverables.
10. Works as an effective team member to meet departmental goals, sharing knowledge with team members and across ARA.
11. Establishes and maintains effective and professional working relationships with team members and other ARA employees.
12. Other Duties as assigned.
