Description

We are looking for an experienced Video Editor to help us edit and prepare promotional video testimonials for our websites.

We have started recording them a few years ago and each year produce a number of new ones. See samples. Now we need to edit testimonials made in


Compensation
Fixed Price $50 CAD per testimonial (final cut). Fixed rate is non-negotiable, regardless of your hourly rates or experience.

(Original testimonials range anywhere from 15-45 min, the number of cuts varies, depending on the smoothness of speech of the interviewee).

After a batch of videos has been put together, there will be 2 revisions (in total 3 edits).

Normally you'll spend 1-2 hrs per testimonial. Most consuming task is creating seamless it will depend on your skill level and English language skills.


Payment:

Each batch is paid through the bank wire transfer upon completion or by PayPal in CAD.


Additional expenses:

would you need to purchase additional animation, music or graphics, please submit a request for approval to the project manager.

Once we've paid, we'll send you links to the files.


First Project:


Batch of 30-32 testimonials: we need a fast turn-around time. The videos need to be completed by the end of Dec.


DISCLAIMER:

We'll ask you to prepare 5 testimonials, to see how well you work and whether we both enjoy interaction.

If the Program Manager is happy with your work, we'll assign you the rest of the project.


How we work:


Preparation/ First Video Version:
After we've shot the video, our team prepares a file of what we need to cut out. Your part is to do the cuts and create a seamless video.


Revision 1:
we review your first draft and provide feedback. Sometimes you may cut out more, sometimes add back some pieces. During this stage the most important is to ensure there is a smooth, logical flow between cuts & transitions.


Revision 2:

we will make another review after you've tweaked and polished up, and there will be some last micro changes.

After this, you'll need to update the video, double-check smooth transitions, add intro/outro, and dynamic text + music.


Final Cut:
you provide with a MP4, which we'll be used in various locations on sites.


Raw Project files:


We ask you to either upload the files to our Box Cloud account or keep on your end for the next few years, as the project will continue for quite a few more years.

We are ready to start on the project ASAP. The first set of testimonials is ready.
