Description
The Manager, Partnership Student Experience & Operations ("the Manager") is a key position with the Office of the President's newly created Division of Strategic Entrepreneurship.
The Division of Strategic Entrepreneurship seeks to develop a strategy designed with a multi-faceted, diversified approach to revenue generation that will sustainably support Sheridan's strategic and operational priorities in the long-term through a culture of innovation while maintaining a fundamental focus on Sheridan's commitment to academic quality and student experience.
The Manager will be a champion for Sheridan and its institutional culture while serving as an expert resource for leaders of our partner organizations, including in Fort Erie.
The incumbent will proactively ensure that partnerships are integrated with Sheridan through a holistic student support model and that overall operations of the partnership are advanced.
They will also ensure crucial leadership and support needed to seamlessly execute Sheridan's responsibilities and accountabilities within the partnership, including ongoing delivery and enhancement of the partnership.
The Manager will be Sheridan's representative at partnership sites and ensure compliance with agreements, regulations, and operations.The incumbent will be accountable for advancing Sheridan's objectives within the partnership, ensuring the delivery of partnership, student experience and services, integrating the Sheridan culture within partnerships, and ensuring continuous improvement.
What You'll be Doing
Providing operational management of Sheridan's day-to-day operations of the partnership, including compliance with Sheridan's standards, integration of Sheridan culture, as well as collaboration and coordination with services on Sheridan campuses.
Ensuring the advising function, student support model, and other student services are available and coordinated to provide a seamless student experience.
Educating and providing valuable insight to senior leadership of partnerships on emerging trends and future needs of students to influence strategic decision-making.
Participating in special projects, including continuous improvement, audits of existing partnerships, exploration of new partnership opportunities.
Performing other duties as assigned.

Must possess a minimum 4-year Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, Social Sciences or a related discipline
Must possess a minimum of 7-years of experience working in a post-secondary context (5 years minimum of supervisory or coaching experience), with broad experience in operations, student affairs, pan-institutional partnerships and collaboration, resource management, strategic initiatives, coaching and mentoring
Must possess sound understanding of the challenges, emerging trends and issues in post-secondary student experience
Must possess exceptional ability to communicate orally, in writ
