The Workforce & Contract Management Business Systems Analyst reports to the Director, Workforce & Contract Management Canadian Division Technology (CDT) and is responsible for providing analytical data to support maximizing every dollar spent, linking investments to business value and business outcomes.


This person will collaborate with the multiple stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and integrity for our WorkForce Management (1,000+ Staff) and Contracts (Labour & Non-Labour) to drive key decision making across CDT.

What we are looking for

Responsibilities:


  • Evaluates data integration needs for Workforce & Contract Management team to find opportunities of data integration
  • Builds data integration assets, capabilities, and automation of data flow from multiple source systems to dashboard that reduces human intervention and increases data integrity.
  • Perform analysis, identify root cause of problems, and contribute to development of technical solutions
  • Work with various teams (business, internal and external vendor, where applicable) to ensure that technical solutions and product increments are in accordance with the business needs
  • Successfully manage competing priorities and navigate within ambiguity
  • Continuously grow and develop analytical capability and contribute to advancements and innovations within the practice

What you bring:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or comparable experience.
  • 3 to 5 years in an IT
  • Selfmotivated, Data mindset and Big Picture View
  • A solid degree of business acumen in the technology and/or financial services sector
  • Excellent problemsolving skills
  • Critical Thinking
  • Data Warehousing
  • Excel proficiency and knowledge of querying languages (Sharepoint)
  • Expertise in data visualization
  • Good experience with PowerBI
  • Good communication and relationship skills with a focus on customer experience
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and work effectively in a deadlineoriented environment
  • Ability to exercise judgment and flexibility

Salary & Benefits


The annual base salary for this role in the primary location of Waterloo, Ontario is expected to be between $72,450.00 CAD - $134,550.00 CAD.
