Applications are currently being accepted for a Temporary Full Time Medical Administrative Coordinator for the Walkerton site of the South Bruce Grey Health Centre (SBGHC).

This temporary position is not to exceed May 2025.

If the position is going to end prior to May 2025 or exceed May 2025 two weeks' notice will be provided.


Position Summary:


Position Qualifications & Prerequisites:


  • Successful completion of a university undergraduate degree, and/or postsecondary office administration/business diploma college program, preferably in the Health Care Industry.
  • Project management skills would be an asset.
  • Demonstrated skills and knowledge (intermediate to advance levels) of Microsoft Office suite of products, Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, etc.
  • Effective communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills. Ability to work with internal and external constituents in a professional and highly constructive manner.
  • Possess a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi task as well as manage changing and conflicting priorities in a fastpaced high volume work environment.
  • Ability to work independently with mínimal direction and supervision.
  • Results oriented and customer focused.
  • Ability to assess, understand and resolve issues and problems within scope of authority, escalating when necessary.
  • Demonstrated ability to safeguard confidential information and maintain the confidentiality of medical staff records and other SBGHC information.
  • Adherence to SBGHC's Core values, policies and procedures, Occupational Health & Safety and Infection Control practices and principles. Advocates and supports SBGHC's culture of patient safety.
  • Engages and supports a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Ability to work occasional evenings on a monthly basis is required.

Job Types:
Full-time, Fixed term contract
