Job Description:


Distribution Stox is seeking to fill the role of Account Manager within our organization for multiple regions in Barrie and surrounding areas.

The account manager is responsible for the renewal of corporate agreements and the development of new clients in his/her assigned territory.

He plays a key role in the sales and growth of the company and maintains our strategic position in the field of tire and accessories distribution.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement business development strategies in line with the company's objectives and expansion plans
  • Implement an action plan to identify the full potential of its territory
  • Follow up on the action plan and report on a regular basis on current sales activities and account issues
  • Manage the activities of his/her territory in order to achieve the company's sales objectives
  • Provide leadership to the entire account development process, from identifying decision makers to obtaining or renewing major contracts
  • Implement and maintain a rigorous process for managing and tracking account development activities
  • Actively participate in corporate events involving your own territory
  • Provide technical advice to clients and prospects on the various brands of products offered by the company
  • Maintain uptodate knowledge of the tire industry
  • Conduct competitive market analysis and share research with the team
  • Create long term relationships with different representatives and manufacturers
  • Perform various analysis and review of discounts

Qualifications:


  • Relevant educational background (Logistics, Marketing/Sales or Administration)
  • Minimum of 35 years experience in business development and account management
  • On the road sales experience (essential)
  • Demonstrated expertise in strategic selling and winwin negotiations for longterm partnership development
  • Ability to develop and maintain business relationships at all levels of the organization, including the executive level of potential and existing customers
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Good communicator, team player
  • Business acumen and results orientation
  • Customer service and listening skills
  • Rigor in identifying the right opportunities and in following up on his/her files
  • Ability to manage several files simultaneously
  • Comfortable with technologies: MS Office, CRM
  • Excel spreadsheet at an intermediate level
