About this Role
Being a count attendant in a casino is like being a rockstar in a sea of slot machines and blackjack tables.
Reporting to the Cage & Count Manager, you'll get to handle and count stacks of cash and watch the thrill of the gamble on the gaming floor as you perform count drops.
You'll also be responsible for the accurate counting of cash assets and the movement of cash assets from the Gaming Floor to the Cage.

Monday, Thursday, Saturday, 06:00-09:30.
What you'll get to DO
- Counting bills, coins and cash equivalents
- Organizing and securing the storage of count carts, drop boxes, drop buckets and bill cartridges for count pulls
- Reporting suspect cash and cash equivalents as well as providing information for reporting purposes
- Verifying and reconciling before and after counts
- Bagging, bundling, securing and transporting counts
- Building strong working relationships with internal and external guests through effective communication
- Complying with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
- Performing other duties as assigned or directed
What you'll need to be Successful
- Must be at least 19 years of age or older
- The ability to successfully obtain a Gaming License through the provincial Gaming Authority Enforcement Branch
- Superior guest service skills with a "Make it Happen" attitude
- Strong communication skills with the ability to understand, speak and write in English
- Working knowledge of computers
- Minimum 1 year of experience in high volume cash handling
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time and work in a fast paced, busy environment
- Ability to lift 50lbs
