Responsibilities:

Create floral arrangements and bouquets for various occasions
Assist customers in selecting appropriate flowers and plants
Maintain inventory of fresh flowers, plants, and supplies
Arrange and display flowers in an aesthetically pleasing manner
Process customer orders and payments using a POS system
Provide exceptional customer service and address any inquiries or concerns
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of the floral department
Keep work area clean and organized

Skills:

Knowledge of different types of flowers, plants, and foliage commonly used in floral arrangements
Ability to create visually appealing floral designs
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Experience with pointofsale (POS) systems for retail sales
Excellent customer service skills to assist customers with their floral needs
Cash handling experience for cashiering duties
Familiarity with ecommerce platforms for online flower sales is a plus
Strong organizational skills to manage inventory and maintain a wellstocked floral department

Please note that previous experience as a florist or in a similar role is preferred. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail is essential. Flexibility in working hours, including weekends and holidays, may be required.
