What you will do:


Key Responsibilities:


  • Oversee multiple budgets, legal and contracting processes including liaising with procurement, legal and privacy departments, the ITS PMO, the Data Governance Committee and the Architecture Review Board
  • Responsible for leading and operationalizing the departmental work and priorities in alignment with the Digital Campus Plan, Academic Plan, Digital Campus Committee, and other strategic initiatives at Humber
  • Work together across the college to create, implement, and upkeep advanced technology and systems, with a focus on facilitating a quicker rate of adaptation to meet business objectives
  • Manage multiple projects in alignment with Humber College's objectives and in collaboration with academic and administrative units

What you bring to the role:

Experience

  • Minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience, with experience in management and leadership roles, preferably in a public postsecondary environment
  • Demonstrated strong knowledge of business planning and business analysis
  • Experience working in large enterprise IT environment (5+ yrs)
  • Experience with Ontario Broader Public Sector Procurement Directive
  • Experience with contract review and vendor management and negotiation including pricing, terms, and other contracted deliverables
  • Project management knowledge within a multistakeholder environment; and project management methodologies including agile, related frameworks, processes, practices, techniques, and tools, including knowledge of time management, cost management, quality management, HR management, and communications management
  • Business analysis knowledge with a large complex environment, related techniques, and tools
  • Experience developing project budgets including resourcing and plans
  • Expertise in procuring and implementing ERP cloudbased solutions (SaaS)
  • Experience using iterative and collaborative work management methodologies, emphasizing adaptability and responsiveness to evolving project needs

  • Lead influencers, being capable of leveraging their creativity, ideation, reasoning, and problemsolving skills to advance initiatives
  • Influencing and negotiating skills and ability to enlist client engagement and dialogue
  • Welldeveloped customer service skills across diverse and complex client groups
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a dynamic, high pressure and fastpaced environment while delivering high quality work and meeting deadlines
  • High energy, innovative, selfstarter with a strong sense of ownership, urgency, accountability and results orientation
  • Understands how to relate technology solutions to solve business problems

Education

  • Formal education or certification in business analysis, portfolio or project management, and/or accounting is desirable
