Production Workers


Sunrise Poultry, the largest individual chicken processing plant in Western Canada is currently looking for Production Workers to join our production line team.

We are looking for dedicated individuals who are dependable and show up for work on time as well as thrive in a team-oriented environment.


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Work on the production line with consistent speed and accuracy
  • Ensure that production requirements and standards are consistently being met
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area and comply with all safety guideline
  • Observe all safety guidelines and report safety concerns to management
  • Follow all written and verbal instructions
  • Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude
  • Packaging and processing of bone in and bone out products that would meet the company, CFIA and customer specifications

Requirements for the position:


  • You must be legally eligible to work in Canada and be a minimum of 18 years of age
  • You will need to be able to speak, read, write, and understand English to effectively communicate with teammates and leadership
  • Able to work in cold temperatures of 0 10C
  • Comfortable working with raw meat products
  • Physically capable of lifting, bending, and reaching
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis
