You will be responsible for monitoring and supporting adults with developmental disabilities in accordance with the organization's mission statement.


Responsibilities:


  • Locate the appropriate services for clients according to their needs and preferences.
  • Interview clients to determine services needed and determine their suitability and eligibility for each program.
  • Determine if a client meets the eligibility requirements for social services programs and refer him or her to the proper agency, if necessary.
  • Monitor time frames for services and document when goals are met.

Qualifications

  • Class G Licence (required)
  • Developmental services diploma or related field of study ( Required)
  • CPR and First Aid Certification (required)
  • Covid 19 Vaccination (preferred)

Requirements:


  • Developmental Service Worker Diploma or related field of study
  • Valid First Aid, CPR certificate, and Safe Management training
  • G Class Driver's License
  • Two Step TB Test
  • ABA training is an asset
  • Experience with behavior's is an asset or related experience
Preference will be given to person with experience working with adults with developmental disabilities.


Work Hours:

The hours of work are scheduled 80 hours bi-weekly with the potential of more shifts as they become available (Full-time)


NOTICE:
Due to the nature of support, this position requires a male only staff with a G license as a bona fide occupational requirement Under Section 17 of the Human Rights Code
