This Position is located in NIAGARA FALLS Ontario.
Responsibilities:
- Teach well prepared ESL classes according to the syllabus and guidelines.
- Use the Communicative Approach employing methodologies such as guided discovery, taskbased learning and the lexical approach, among others.
- Monitor students use of the Progress Tracker and ensure it is used to measure progress
- Assign homework, do marking and provide meaningful feedback to students.
- Administer tests and give tutorials.
- Participate in the social program.
- Are involved with the progression of the school by attending meetings and contributing to improvement by implementing new initiatives and providing.
- Degree in Education, Linguistics, Pedagogy or equivalent required
- Minimum TESL 1 certificate and/or CELTA required
- Minimum of 2 years' fulltime teaching experience
- Effective communicator
- Professional appearance
- Positive and flexible attitude
- Proactive about own development and the job
