The Opportunity

Analyze internal processes and customer transactions using Microsoft PowerBI to optimize pricing by identifying opportunities/obstacles and present to Category Managers with recommended course of action.

Interpret financial results and perform variance analysis with investigation on underlying issues to optimize the Wajax Pricing Model.

The Role

Working Collaboratively with assigned Category Managers to grow sales and improve margin
Utilize analytics to mine data to identify opportunities within Categories to optimize pricing
Monitor market conditions, competitor price positioning and pricing/promotional trends
Proactively seeking opportunities for continuous improvements in pricing accuracy and execution

Education: Degree or Diploma in Business Administration or related field; professional designation considered an asset

Work Experience:3-5 years' experience in product pricing or data analytics or experience in finance/financial modeling/strategic planning analytics or similar experience

Skills and Strengths:

Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey financial and business impact to company leaders
Analytical skills and mathematical aptitude
Proficient in PowerBI, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Power point) and Windows
Ability to thrive in a fastpaced interactive team environment.
