is a Burnaby, BC-based electronics instrumentation manufacturing firm supplying specialized down-hole probes and sensors to the geotechnical site investigation industry in Canada and the U.S.

SCOPE OF POSITION
ROLES, RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS
- Install, assemble, and repair electronic systems based on technical specifications.
- Surface mount and throughhole PCB assembly
- Wire harness and mechanical assembly
- Usage of technical documentation for assembly
- Complete manufacturing orders, quality control checks and maintenance documentation.
- Maintain inventory control of electronic components and tools.
SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Education Requirements
- High School Diploma required.
- Completion of a two (2) year diploma or certification as a Technologist certification preferred.
Experience Requirements
- At least one (1) year of experience in Mechanical and electrical assembly is preferred.
Technical Skill Requirements
- Experience with Assembly, troubleshooting and repair of analog and digital instrumentation
- Experience with PCB (Print Circuit Boards) assembly
- Soldering skills
- Handson experience with power tools

- Ability to take direction and feedback from senior, contemporary, and junior staff.
- Must be detailoriented and continue to provide quality work
