Wage Rate*:

The DeGroote School of Business offers a pay rate commensurate with qualifications and related teaching experience in a range from $8,600 to $9,750.

The exact rate of pay is determined at the sole discretion of the employment supervisor, according to standard evaluation criteria.

  • Article 15.02 The employee may be eligible to receive supplemented fees in accordance with Schedule B of the Collective Agreement. The actual rate of pay when in excess of the base rate of pay is deemed to include any supplemented fees owing, to the extent of the excess amount. Vaccination Policy Statement


The University is committed to providing and maintaining healthy and safe working and learning environments for all workers, students, volunteers and visitors.

Effective October 18, 2021, all McMaster community members, including employees, accessing a McMaster campus or facility in person are required to be fully vaccinated or to have received an exemption from the University for a valid human rights ground.

This is a term and condition of employment.

As defined by the provincial government, people are considered fully vaccinated two weeks after their second dose in a 2-dose series.
