What you'll bring
Required Qualifications & Experience Requirements
- A Masters in Psychology is required, and PhD in Psychology or PsyD is preferred
- Demonstrated commitment to teaching and professional development that supports and promotes equity, diversity, social justice and the inclusion of diverse ways of being, knowing, learning, and investigating
- Demonstrated commitment to collegiality, through respectful and fair engagement with colleagues, and evidence of service work relative to stage of career
- Demonstrated excellence in teaching introductory psychology and courses from at least one area of upperlevel specialization.
- Excellent record of scholarly achievement, some of which may include communityengaged research, scholarship, and creative work, relative to stage of career
Strong Assets
- Embedded communitybased experience with Indigenous learners/communities and/or minority learners/communities
- Demonstrated commitment to antioppressive practices and decolonizing methodologies
- Leadership experience in educational and/or community settings
