Course Title and Course Number:

BIEN 210: Electrical and Optical Properties of Biological Systems (3 credits)
1 TA position of 180 hours
Applicants must be familiar with mechanisms of optical and electrical detection, transmission, and processing in biology; vision, luminescence, photosynthesis, nerve conduction, ion channels; speciation and evolutionary optimization as a design platform; biomimetic optoelectric engineering; optics and electronics in instrumentation for biological measurements.
Previous experience (as UG student or TA) with this course or similar courses is required
Lead 2hour weekly tutorial

Position Summary:

A Teaching Assistant is a Graduate Student employed to assist a Course Supervisor as a Teaching Assistant or a Demonstrator.
Assist Professor in preparing, grading, and reviewing HW sets & other assignments, quizzes, exams.
Prepare, conduct, and lead tutorials.
Monitor and participate in discussion boards on MyCourses

Qualifications:

Applicants must currently be students enrolled in a program at McGill University. Priority will be given to graduate students.
Applicants must be familiar with the course content (please consult the eCalendar)
Proficiency in English is required
Hourly Salary:
