Scheduler

Position Overview:

Main Responsibilities:

Review customer releases and translate demand into internal MRP requirements
Process and communicate orders received from Sales
Review open order report daily and on Shipon Time reports
Responsible to update and/or add new planning parameters for parts being added or updated
Understand product demand and update forecast within targeted schedule.
Work with Sales and Operations teams
Review planning actions daily
Schedule and release orders to the floor
Invoicing orders
Sending ASN's
Review and ensure we have the correct inventory at the correct time in the correct quantity
Review and process material substitutions as required
Analyzes, schedule and work with purchasing to expedite material according to requirements
Customer Involvement
Support Inventory Management objectives, for all warehouse locations
Identify and help eliminate / reduction Excess and Obsolete Inventory
Improve forecasting accuracy
Mitigate Expedited Freight Costs
Other Duties as assigned

Education / Experience:

Post-Secondary Diploma or Certificate within Supply Chain considered an asset
Familiarity with Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, ISO 9001, CPG considered an asset
Strong working knowledge within Excel considered an asset
Knowledge of EDI and ASN's considered an asset
Familiarity with Distribution and Automotive environments considered an asset
