Description
Luma is looking for an IO Lead to join our team The IO Lead is a key position that will lead a team of IO coordinators and oversee the organization of project drives and data ingestion and output.
This position reports to the Head of Production.You Can:
- Run point for inquiries and requests from Producers and Production team members
- Lead the IO/Editorial team, prioritizing their tasks, managing workloads, and driving improved workflows.
- Flag additional hiring needs during anticipated crunch periods
- Ingest client files and prepare client deliveries via digital file transfer programs (ex: Aspera, Signiant Media Shuttle)
- Prepare and execute digital file transfers between inhouse studios, vendors and other parties
- Communicate accurately and in a timely manner the transfer of the data to the appropriate departments
- Ensure all correspondence is up to date, responding in a timely mannerAssist in some production needs, such as creating and publishing shots and updating log databases
- Execute all duties within the required security specifications
You Have:
- 3+ years experience in VFX production facility
- Clear understanding of Avid media composer, Adobe PremiereProficient computer skills; emphasis on Production Tracking Software (Shotgun, F-Track) and Asset Management
- Excellent communication, both verbal and writtenGood organizational skills and strong attention to detail
- Ability to handle a fast paced, occasionally highpressure environment
- Capable of working independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings or nights when production schedules require
