Reporting directly to the Quality Engineer, the incumbent will have several responsibilities related to the company's quality management system.

Here's an overview of your tasks:

  • Manage the handling of customer and supplier complaints (analysis, problem resolution, quarantine area)
  • Maintain the required documentation with rigor
  • Followup of quality indicators
  • Communication of inspection results
  • Participation in various improvement projects
  • Participate in the preventive and corrective action process
  • Responsible for quality criteria
  • Manage, follow and document the repair of certain products
  • Responsible for the management process of measuring and testing equipment
  • Quality training
  • All other tasks related to the job

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:


  • College diploma (DEC): mechanical, industrial, quality or materials) and/or equivalent experience
  • 3 to 5 years experience (in a manufacturing environment would be an asset)
  • Experience with measurement methodologies and tools (blueprint reading and others)
  • Bilingualism (an asset)
  • Mastery of Word and Excel
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good organizational skills
  • Team player
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and independently
