Description

AyA Kitchens and Baths, one of Canada's top cabinet manufactures, is hiring a part time Design student to work in our Mississauga Showroom on Saturdays.

This is an ideal job for someone who is interested in starting their career in the kitchen design field.


Responsibilities include:

  • Open and close showroom
  • General reception duties
  • Greeting customers and tracking showroom traffic
  • Prepare customer care packages
  • Learn product information

Experience/Education:

  • Previous experience working in a reception role preferred
  • Working towards a Diploma in Interior Design, Interior Decorating or Architectural Technology
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Working knowledge of MS software
  • Some experience working with design software an asset
Work

Schedule:
Saturdays 10:00am - 4:00pm


Job Type:
Part-time

Part-time hours: 6 per week


Salary:
From $17.00 per hour


Flexible Language Requirement:

  • French not required

Schedule:

  • Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Mississauga, ON L4X 2Z6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • Canadian Citizenship or Landed Immigrant (required)
