Description
We are looking for a part time baker for Sunday & Mondays 5am - 1pm. We specialise in canelés a french pastry from Bordeaux. We are based in a commissary kitchen so you need to be organized yet flexible. Potential for full time if desired.

General Duties

  • Prepare batter for canelés, various creams, custards, fillings and toppings as needed.
  • Learn to bake canelés to the highest standard
  • Help with all tasks in day to day cleanup.

Requirements:


  • Baking and pastry diploma.
  • Minimum 2 years experience working in a bakery.
  • Be a team player but also able to work alone without supervision.
  • Completed FOOD SAFE CERTIFICATE
  • MUST LIVE IN THE GREATER VANCOUVER AREA. WE HAVE NO LMIA

Job Type:
Part-time

Part-time hours: 16 per week


Salary:
$18.00-$22.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

  • Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Vancouver, BC V6J 1N5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Baking: 3 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • FOOD SAFE CERTIFICATION (required)
