Associate Manager Communications

**Description: - Permanent Full Time- As Associate Manager of Communications, your primary role will be to support the development and execution of strategic internal communications for divisional and/or national audiences. You'll also contribute to the development of external messaging and initiatives that support our company brand and executive thought leadership, and informally guide colleagues and team members.-
What you will do

  • Forge strong relationships with business leaders, partners and members of the Communications team to ensure delivery of solutions that meet business needs
  • Support business results with strategic and tactical communication guidance, drawing on a big picture perspective aligned with business, culture and engagement strategies and our company brand
  • Develop and execute communication strategies and plans for specific programs and change management initiatives, using a forwardthinking, holistic approach to anticipate potential issues and developing contingency plans.
  • Explore new ideas, methodologies, and alternative ways to reach outcomes as part of our broader team.
  • Collaborate with all members of the Communications team, actively supporting the delivery of a consistent strategic communication support model across our Canadian business and ensure consistent messages, positioning, timing and language
  • Contribute to the development of an inclusive team environment where all members feel they belong and can reach their full potential.

What you will bring

  • Completion of a postsecondary degree relating to communications, and at least 57 years of related experience. A combination of education and work experience will also be considered.
  • Outstanding communication skills with a demonstrated ability in writing and communications strategy development
  • Strong collaboration and relationshipbuilding skills and ability to work well with a national team in different locations
  • Demonstrated relationship management skills at senior levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated experience as a forward thinker and a problemsolver with project management skills and the ability to execute strategic plans
  • Experience informally leading or coaching the efforts of others
  • Ability to effectively manage and deliver multiple projects in a quality and timely manner, independently and under pressure
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and a sense of urgency
  • Comfort with ambiguity and flexibility to adapt to a changing environment
  • Ability to handle sensitive/confidential information appropriately
  • Proficiency with common office software
  • Working knowledge of SharePoint Online would be considered a strong asset
  • The base salary for this position is between
    $61,900.

00*:

- $114,500.00** annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc). If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
