**Custodian/Janitor

You will perform a variety of tasks throughout your shift to help maintain the facility's interior building and grounds, ensuring safety and cleanliness.

These tasks include operating a floor scrubber, mopping, waste removal, and other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Previous custodian/janitorial experience is an asset.
Ability to work rotating shifts (days & afternoons)
Ability to work overtime as required.
Good communication skills both verbal and written.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical ability to perform all aspects of the job.
Good time management skills to prioritize assignments delegated by your supervisor.
Responsible for all basic cleaning in and outside the building.
Cleaning and disinfecting all surface areas including dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, move equipment/furniture for proper cleaning and place furniture back in correct placement, and spot cleaning glass and windows.
Clean restrooms, including restocking dispensers, emptying trash, cleaning, and sanitizing fixtures, cleaning mirrors, spot cleaning doors and walls, sweeping and mopping tile floors, and cleaning toilets and urinals.
Picking up any trash and emptying the trash bins inside and outside.
Sets up, stocks, and maintains cleaning equipment and supplies.
Responding to employee or guest requests.
Assists other departments when needed to ensure optimum service.
Seek out areas requiring cleaning; take initiative to complete the task.
Perform additional duties as needed.
