Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Read measurement tools, blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
- Set up and operate CNC machines to maximize the use of materials and equipment
- Perform precise measuring to ensure components are machined to the specific tolerances and surface finishes
- Operate and handle materials and tools in a safe manner
- Report any environmental and health & safety issues that arise
- Ensure that the work area is kept clean and appropriate safety equipment is worn at all times
- Assist with the training of other employees
- Perform Preventative maintenance on equipment
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
- 6+ years' experience with setup and operation of CNC Lathes and/or Mills;
- Trade certification considered an asset, but not required;
- Overhead Crane and Forklift Certificates required
Weingartner experience considered an Asset:
Leistritz experience considered an Asset

Training and Physical Requirements_
):
- Participate in near miss / incident reporting;
- Adhere to all HSE policies and procedures;
- Able to work in manufacturing environment (walking, standing, noise);
- Ability to lift 35 lbs unassisted.
