MD Financial Management, a division of Scotia Wealth Management, has an exciting opportunity for a talented, enthusiastic, and client-focused Trade Representative to join our team.
As a Trade Representative, you will be responsible for the effective facilitation of trade instructions and responding to on-line, telephone and chat inquiries, from current and prospective clients, as well as internal MD representatives Canada-wide.
Is this role right for you? In this role you will:
- Facilitate real time and accurate trading related to mutual funds, equities, and fixed income products
- Maintain and monitor outstanding client inquiries and issues, ensuring that established service level standards are met, and appropriate solutions are identified to address administrative errors/problems.
- Be accountable for developing and maintaining detailed knowledge of MD products and services, market conditions, interest rates and other financial industry news
- You will actively identify and develop opportunities for client retention and lead generation.
The Must Haves:
- University degree in business, commerce or equivalent
- Frontline experience within a contact center environment preferably in the financial services industry
- Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) is considered an asset
- Bilingual (English/French) is required
