Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and analyze HR metrics and use the data to create reports and provide recommendations for improvement (sample metrics: turnover rate, cost to hire, time to hire, eNPS, etc.).
- Support the HR Director with salary benchmarking, total compensation, benefits and pension (RRSP, 401K), base pay and bonus programs, and our continuous performance management program.
- Own the administration of our employee group benefits programs by providing information and support to employees.
- Support Payroll by providing salary increases, termination details, and/or any other relevant information in a timely manner.
- Work with managers to understand employee skill gaps, proposing and assisting with the coordination of corporate training sessions to close these gaps.
- Work with the training team to create training material as required.
- Create and deliver training sessions for managers or employees based on company needs.
- Work with HR Director to research, develop, and implement new HR policies, procedures, guidelines, structures, and HR software.
- Recommend strategies to motivate employees and enhance Connexall's culture.
- Conduct meetings with employees to discuss any issues, conflicts, or complaints.
- Consult/advise managers and employees on issues related to policy, programs, processes, and relevant legislation.
- Ensure legal compliance in all regions where Connexall operates by monitoring and implementing applicable federal/state/provincial human resources requirements.
- Working in collaboration with the HR Director and General Counsel, conduct investigations, maintain records, and represent the organization at hearings (if required).
- Manage offboarding process, track service anniversaries for vacation increases, and milestone recognition, and track contract deadlines.
- Conduct and analyze exit interviews and use this information to improve employee retention.
- Assist with recruitment as needed (back up to Recruitment Specialist); including but not limited to coordinating job posts, reviewing resumes, interviewing, conducting background checks, onboarding, and ensuring new hire paperwork is completed/processed.
- Maintain employee files in electronic and paper form by keeping track of records, reports, and other documentation ensuring all files are kept up to date and confidential.
- Create job descriptions, maintain organizational charts, track salary information, and track vacation entitlement.
- Build programs and reward/recognition initiatives to increase employee performance and engagement.
- Develop, maintain, and act as a brand ambassador for Connexall's corporate culture both externally and internally.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field required.
- Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) preferred.
- 3+ years of human resources experience required.
- Experience in a software company preferred.
- Knowledge and experience with Canadian applicable legislation (employment law, common law, human rights, occupational health & safety, etc) and HR best practices required.
- Knowledge and experience with US employment and labor legislation preferred
- Exceptional communication skills; verbal, written, and presentation.
- Ability to understand, utilize, prepare, and analyze HR metrics to draw logical inferences and provide reasonable recommendations.
- Detailoriented, with the ability to write business correspondence and create procedural and training documentation.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively by prioritizing a high volume of work and meeting deadlines in a dynamic, fastpaced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and active listening skills with the ability to facilitate conflict resolution.
- Must be analytical with good problem solving and decisionmaking skills.
- Peopleoriented with the ability to work individually or as part of a team.
- Must be resourceful, energetic, and display a strong desire to take initiative.
- Must be trustworthy with a strong sense of ethics due to nature of work and exposure to confidential information.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately and thoroughly monitor work for quality and ensure standard specifications are met.

Pay:
$43,092.39-$84,786.7
