YOUR MISSION


Stepping into TimePlay's growing Global Cruise line industry, our Technical Project Manager is the central point of contact between TimePlay and onboard and head office cruise ship technology teams.

The goal for this role is the seamless integration of our games on cruise ships by utilizing project management methodologies to drive accountability across internal and external stakeholders.

By fostering strong working relationships and understanding of the cruise line entertainment space, The Technical Project Manager will be an important link between our Engineering Team and colleagues on the Client Success team, and contribute to TimePlay's mission to cultivate a dynamic, secure, and responsive technological ecosystem that exceeds business objectives and client expectations through collaboration and innovation.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and timelines for deployments, as well provide regular progress reporting
  • Effectively manage multiple technology projects, ensuring successful deployments within budget and timeline constraints
  • Serve as the central point of contact with the shipboard teams and the engineering departments
  • Implement an agile deployment process to maximize productivity and responsiveness
  • Partner with our shipboard technical teams & our engineering department to oversee the game deployment lifecycle
  • Coordination of functionality assessments, bug identification, and usability evaluations
  • Relay customer/client feedback to the engineering department
  • Coordinate collaborative efforts with cruise line partners, fostering seamless integration and promoting efficient collaboration while maintaining partner accountability
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues on Client Success team, ensuring timely communication of all updates and leveraging their insights to meet and exceed client requirements effectively
  • Utilize larger project management team and methodologies to plan, execute, and control projects, while mitigating risks and resolving issues
  • Coordinate between our engineering department and our client/partner's IT departments to ensure the team is unblocked and able to successfully deploy our products
  • Administer change management and escalation procedures

REQUIREMENTS:


  • Degree/diploma in Computer Science or a related field of study
  • Certification in Project Management with formal training in project management practices
  • 35 years of project management and/or previous experience in information systems operations environment in systems analysis
  • Experience building strong client relationships and delivering focused solutions to meet client needs
  • Advanced knowledge of software/gaming development lifecycle
  • Led and coordinate crossfunctional work teams toward task completion
  • Strong verbal, written, negotiation and presentation skills to communicate at all levels of an organization
  • Adaptable to assist with challenging requests/escalations as needed
  • Accustomed to a cloudbased structure
  • Resourceful to juggle multiple account projects, while maintaining sharp attention to detail

Bonus:

  • Knowledge & understanding of Jira and SCRUM principles
  • Has experience and knowledge leading a successful release or deployment of cloudbased technologies/products
