Farm - Underwriting Assistant

We have a team of solution-oriented problem solvers providing expertise on our home, farm, commercial
and auto products. We are currently recruiting for a Farm Underwriting Assistant. This role is a permanent
full-time position on site in Drayton, Ontario.

Position Responsibilities:

Process new policies, renewals, and endorsements per our underwriting guidelines and

direction of senior staff

Accurately completing data entry as required
Print policies for farm lines department
Provide additional support to other departments as needed (backup reception)
Develop and maintain effective relationships with our broker partners
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to review information carefully & comprehensively
Provide support to senior staff when directed
Meet company service standards in a prompt and efficient manner

Qualifications:

Strong decisionmaking skills
Well organized and thorough approach to completing tasks
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
Post-Secondary education is an asset
