The Job:_
The Line Cook is responsible for the accurate preparation of menu items in a timely, efficient, sanitary, and consistent manner.
The Line Cook must be prepared to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure work environment, while maintaining the organizational ability to identify and act on job duties quickly and effectively.
The Line Cook must be prepared to work as a team member in a dynamic workplace, follow all safety procedures, and take direction from both Sr.
Line Cooks and all Management Team members.- Working all line & prep positions, in a competent and confident manner.
- Following recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as directed.
- Restocking all line items throughout shift as needed or directed.
- Cohesively working with the rest of the BOH team.
- Performing all assigned duties as required, including prep responsibilities, deep clean requirements, etc.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment at all times.
- Maintaining a positive and committed _"Do Whatever It Takes_" attitude.
- Receiving direction from The Mule's BOH management team.
What we are looking for:
- 12 years of work experience in restaurant kitchens is required.
- Previous work experience as a restaurant Line Cook will be an asset.
- Weekend availability (Saturday & Sunday) is required.
- Valid Food Handler's Certification will be an asset.
