Kinetic Environmental Ltd. has an opportunity within our Vancouver branch for
Project Coordinator/Junior Estimator to provide administrative, clerical and client/subtrade liaison support to the Project Management and Estimating Teams as required. Provides support to the Estimating team with all pre-construction and estimating activities and to grow with us.

Position Specifications

Diploma or Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline/equivalent experience

years experience in Hazardous Materials Abatement, Demolition, Construction or related field

Undergraduate degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering or Architecture, or direct experience equivalent
Construction Related Technology Certificate Diploma is an asset
0+ years of experience in Pre-Construction, Estimating, and/or related field
Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Working knowledge of construction drawings, specifications and required standards
Basic understanding of construction sequences
Efficient with Microsoft Office Suite, BlueBeam, SmartSheet and Procore
Ability to establish strong working relationships with subtrades and clients
Any estimating, quantity take off software knowledge is an asset
Ability to read and interpret contract specifications, drawings, and other construction documents.
Must have strong attention to detail, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with a positive attitude.
Must be selfmotivated with strong willingness and ability to learn and to be challenged.
Strong analytical, above average mathematical skills, critical thinking, troubleshooting, problemsolving skills, and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to document and organize information efficiently and accurately
