Job Summary:
This position will work in the office 4 days a week, Monday toThursday, and work remotely on Friday's.
Nature of work:
Reporting to the Manager, this position is responsible for the supporting the SGPS team and providing various administrative tasks as well as being the frontline for SGPS.
Responsibilities/accountabilities:
Frontline Support
- Provides support in frontline services to applicants, students and general public as required
Admissions Support
- Communicate with applicant general inquiries regarding admission processes and expectations
- Check applicant files to ensure that supporting documents are complete and verified
Other Office Support
- Provide general administrative support to the SGPS office
- Perform data entry on key projects and tasks as requested
- Assist with information gathering and data entry/management
- Assist with event coordination
- Other duties as required
Required Skills:
- Exceptional attention to detail
- High level of confidentiality
- Ability to handle a high workload during peak periods
- Commitment to excellent customer service
Required Education:
- Completion of 2year postsecondary program
- Verification of Academic credentials may be required
Required Experience:
- 13 years experience in a university setting
- Experience in database maintenance and producing reports and statistics
- Experience working in an environment with high volumes of work requiring independent judgment
