Responsibilities:

Knowledge of ELV Systems, all type of Home Automation, security surveillance and IT systems like CCTV, Access Control, Parking Systems, Audio/Video, Intercom, Audio Visual System, Public Address Music System, Gate Barrier, etc.
Review design drawings and prepare shop drawings for the Home Automation, Access

Control, Structured Cabling, Security, CCTV, Gate Barrier, IPTV, SMATV, Detection Systems.
Assist with on-site work and Service calls as required.

Manages a team of electricians and has advanced leadership skills.
Building, developing remote control for security, monitoring and electronic systems, building a company's own laboratory for testing and development.

Collaborates with colleagues and has strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Prepare of BOQ from the designed details, Shop drawing and from the details of the site

survey records.

Wired and wireless Network design and troubleshooting experience.
Installation and troubleshooting of Fiber Optic Networks

- introduction and training of drawing programs to the office administrative assistant and providing an outline for future required drawings.
- also responsible for estimating any major project work. This involves take-offs of material quantities from supplied prints and estimating man-hours for potential work. The administrative assistant will provide data entry for any estimating in the accounting software

The onsite responsibilities of the Project Manager is to supervise the other electricians, keep track of inventory used and liaison with the builder. There is also an expectation for this person to assist in the installation and completion of projects

The Services Manager position is a combination of onsite and in-office responsibilities. The person in that position has to deal with clients and staff in an unbiased and cordial manner.

The Services Manager reports directly to the company President on all matters relating to the business.

This person also is the company representative, in Vernon, when introducing potential clients to the services RobotHouse Automation has to offer.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Certificate of qualification, Red Seal Electrician

At least 1 year of electrician experience is required.

Field Safety Representative (FSR) in British Columbia (Class C)

Relevant Industry Training (RTI, Savant, Vantage, PLC)
